Meet Anastasia Soare’s Creative Beverly Hills Home Project

The entrepreneur of Anastasia Beverly Hills transforms her modern house into an artistic and luxurious place Having a creative and vivid soul, Anastasia Soare, known as the “Queen of Brows,” is a Romanian-American businesswoman, CEO, and founder of Anastasia Beverly Hills. The entrepreneur, who is hugely captivated by design, displays her personality and rich taste in her oasis-like Beverly Hills house. The rooms are bright and contemporary, providing a flexible setting to display Soare’s collections of artifacts and mid-century modern style furniture. According to Anastasia Soare, colors keep her upbeat. For that reason, even though she chose grayish colors, she opted for a warm shade of gray, she also mentioned that she prefers to mix fabrics “I wanted to have this incredible feeling of zen—but then you look at the different pieces closely, and your eye is surprised.” This living room is the perfect example of what Anastasia Soare said. It clearly radiates a comfortable and zen feeling through its neutral and serene colors, different types of texture in the fabrics, and, of course, through the mid-century pieces, including a Hans Wegner-designed papa bear chair and a Vladimir Kagan-designed couch. On the coffee table, there are small sculptures by Jeff Koons and Kaws. The businesswoman is also her own interior decorator and has a deep interest in design. She sources items at auctions, concentrating on mid-century furniture (including 1st dibs and some of the larger houses). A visitor is presented with magnificent items by designers from the era, such as Ponti, as well as others like Paul Evans and Hans Wegner, as they move from room to room. Anastasia Soare is very attentive to details and pays them a lot of dedication. For example, in the office, a Gio Ponti-designed desk and a Luciano Figerio-designed lamp are present. It also has the Paul Evans-designed shelves feature objects and works from Alexandra Nechita and J.M.W. Turner. This design is extremely creative yet smartly well put together, connecting every detail beautifully and enlivening the room. Some items are first introduced to Anastasia Soare’s home and, after a while, reupholstered to fit the space perfectly. For instance, in the master bedroom, two Italian chairs have been given new life in crushed velvet, while a Federico Munari sofa has been revived in moss green. “I thought that I needed some color in the bedroom, and the green worked with the green outside”. Additionally, the Pucci de Rossi–designed side table is the same color as the crushed velvet. All this proves, once again, that Soare is highly detail-focused and committed to her work. Each corner is welcoming and well-planned, with artwork and objects that have been placed with care and effort, and the dining room is no exception. Located in the heart of the house, this room is decorated with a chandelier designed by Christopher Boots and a unique table and chairs designed by Paul Evans. On the walls, some of the 160 slabs of Italian marble are exhibited in a charming way. The stone is hammered on purpose so that this material appears more like a natural stone. One of the house areas where personality is usually expressed less is the bathroom. Habitually, this space is mainly inspired by modern design or through some design type that provides calmness. However, Anastasia Soare was able to produce a luxurious and contemporary bathroom with diverse, rich materials that still radiate individuality and fun. Anastasia’s house is mostly based on a serene and lavish but still amusing vibe. She reflected this perfectly in the bar, “Everything is so earthy that I felt like I needed a little oomph”, said Anastasia Soare about her marble bar, “I felt like I needed a little fire because everything is really zen. The bar area is where you want to have a little fun”. What an interesting tour! This is definitely one of the most elegantly-creative home projects! Now that you are inspired by this gorgeous house, find out how to achieve this look through some mid-century modern rugs.

Meet the Stunning Harbour House by Studio Gorman and Peter Tout

Harbour House, evoking a Miami aesthetic via a modern viewpoint, introduces a dynamic blend of color and contrast inspired by a trance from the 1980s. In order to provide an open and fluid planning technique that is consistent with a calm and elevated existence, Studio Gorman and Peter Tout work together to draw prominence to the original story of this home.    Located on Sydney’s lower North Shore, Harbour House has three extensive floors and needs to be updated in order to remain relevant for its present owners and their future chapters. The last residence emerges as an accurate statement of location by both refurbishing and recreating previous links to the 1980s. The harbour home was given a new life by utilizing a more open design strategy that focused on connectivity between indoor and outdoor areas while using the pastel colors and striking details that were popular during the time period. The property intended to challenge preconceived notions about the time period and demonstrate a more modern reiteration with architecture by Peter Tout and interior design by Studio Gorman. The house was renovated through a more open approach, highlighting the connections between interior and outdoor spaces, achieving an elegant and discreet connected look. But of course, still making use of the signature pastels and contrasting features of that time. Harbour House had to have the robustness to accommodate family demands while also adding character-filled moments. Color was employed to enliven the interior in order to convey the individuals living there, and a variety of textures are used all around. The selection of furniture had to be cozy, low maintenance, and in line with the general idea of how the rooms may be used. Defined places to congregate, gather, and retreat to were prioritized, along with some degree of flexibility between zones. Timber is included and used as the primary flooring material, as well as in some woodwork, to provide a foundation for the richness of the pastel tones. Openings were made to allow light and natural ventilation to enter the interior, promoting interaction with the surrounding area and the existing landscape environment. Positive relics of the period in question are incorporated into the house, together with Miami references and the use of a mellowed color scheme to create the chosen aesthetic. The lighter tones define the mood of the home and provide an inviting feeling when combined with terrazzo, brass, and natural stone. As you have seen, color is a great source to enlive any interior, and the color used in this harbour house is no exception! The balance between natural hues and the perfect amount of stronger colors, such as different shades of blue and pink, provide an elegant yet very comfortable and familiar energy. This feeling was also achieved trough the variety of textures, shapes, and materials present in the project. In order to make this sophisticated, modern harhour house more familiar and welcoming, the designers opted for using curves and fun shapes and textures. For that exact reason, thanks to Studio Gorman and Peter Tout, this family base embodies an ideal type of quietness with a focus on disconnection. Even though the harbour house overall evokes a very calm and serene environment due to its contemporary design and shape, natural materials, and soft colors, this smart design is still capable of furnishing luxury, creativity, and modernism all in the perfect amount, through a diverse, rich source, for example, from the detailed and pastel rugs chosen for this residence. Explore the Mid-Century Modern Style of a Miami Home Designed by 10.Studio

Cristina Hoyos and Melanie Weber from 10. Studio designed a stunning Mid-Century Modern Miami home. Let’s look at this incredible interior design. Cristina Hoyos and Melani Weber are the designers behind a breathtaking Mid-century modern home created for clients who love to entertain and showcase their impressive art collection of emerging contemporary artists. Interior design clients want to emphasize their artwork, walls, and indoor and outdoor lighting. The clients desire a home that is both accommodating for their growing art collection and suitable for raising their young children. Let’s explore the combination of Mid-century modern style and captivating artwork. Inside the Mid-Century Modern Style Alfonso Jurado, an architect, collaborated with builder Eduardo Arenas to renovate this house. They had to dismantle some primary walls to increase natural light and establish a more spacious layout. Most of the walls were painted white to provide a neutral canvas for the artwork. The living room is adorned with a Dea Italiana screen that illuminates the space and a stunning GaHee Park artwork that adds a unique touch. The vintage furniture in the living room is exquisite, including the Clam chair by Philip Arctander and the lounge chair by Martin Eisler and Carlo Hauner. In addition, there is a beautiful artwork by Jordi Ribes in the living area. To complete the living space, an Eny Lee Parker Oo floor lamp is placed alongside the Sede’s Snake sofa from DDC, while a perfect coffee table from Cassina’s Rio sits atop a Brazilian rug. The design team combined modern pieces with vintage-inspired accents to create a sophisticated yet cozy vibe without drawing attention from the art. One fantastic feature of the Miami House is that the art pieces appear to be floating behind the furniture, just like in a museum, according to Weber. The hallway showcases mid-century modern design with its impressive artwork and elegant appearance. It displays an Emily Mae Smith piece, leading to a Nicolas Party artwork. The French oak flooring from Pianeta adds a touch of sophistication to the space. The dining room has beautiful decor, featuring a stunning painting by Genesis Tramaine and a screen from Dea Italiana that separates it from the rest. The dining area also has a vintage 1950s Italian chandelier hanging above a mahogany table and cane chairs designed by Martin Eisler. The Interior Design Studio focused on using a neutral color scheme and incorporating natural materials such as vintage furniture and raffia-like rugs. The primary bedroom showcases this stunning combination beautifully. The mid-century modern style of the primary bedroom is adorned with artworks by Jordi Ribes and Otani Workshop. A Poltrona Frau’s Times bed takes center stage, flanked by Thomas Hayes Studio tables holding Astep lamps. The room has a romantic and natural ambiance, with a Finn Juhl sofa, a unique ABC Carpet & Home and Design rug, and a custom bench. Reach pendants have been added to enhance the overall look. This Miami home has an exceptional selection of artwork that fits perfectly with the mid-century modern style. Even the children’s playrooms and bedrooms are adorned with art pieces and mid-century furniture. The daughter’s bedroom has a lovely blend of white and pink colors, with artwork by Super Future Beautifuliful features the Ducduc Litchfield bed, a Beni rug, and a Lightplatena wall sconce To complete the decor. Above is the Kim Markel chair in the daughter’s bedroom custom desk with a Dora Dalila Cheffi piece. An RH picture lamp illuminates the artwork. The interior design is a harmonious union of the client’s art collection and carefully selected vintage furniture pieces, culminating in a sophisticated and exceptional living space. Maximalist Interior

Maximalist Interior Design – Everything You Need to Know

Characterized by bold colors and patterns, the maximalist interior design style is expanding and captivating more and more people. Even though this style has existed for a long time, its appreciation is growing more each day. Consequently, several people try to find out more about this style and how to perform it in the best way possible. In this article, we have selected everything you need to know about this interior design style, including how to create the best possible project out of it, and also debunk some myths about this design. What is maximalist interior design? Contrary to what many people think, maximalism is not about just adding a bunch of things to a space. Maximalist interior design is indeed chaotic and loud. However, it is a thoughtful chaos. It’s about avoiding leaving naked areas and filling the room with a combination of colors, materials, textures, and modernity with traditional elements. Over the last few years, some designers like Luke Edward Hall and Kelly Wearstler have promoted maximalist interior design and generated more recognition for this style, although this design has been around for a long time. In fact, this style is very connected to the Hollywood Regency, which is also characterized by its signature patterns, colors, and textures blended together. Even so, despite the fact that a maximalist house frequently involves a lot of concepts, the design style is well-rested and clean. Maximalism should not be confusing, over-decorated, or a bewildering busy design. It’s very easy for maximalism to slip into a messy, so you have to be very careful. But no worries, fortunately, in this article we will share some design tips on how to avoid this.  Maximalist interior design’s History Maximalist interior design has existed for centuries. In contrast to a more restrained, conservative interior design style, maximalism extends all the way back to the Victorian era, when individuals were really attempting to make a statement in their homes. This concept also appeared in various interior design trends throughout the years. One of the most frequently mentioned examples is the Hollywood Regency aesthetic, which emerged around the same time as Art Deco in the early 20th century. When considering maximalism as an aesthetic founded on excess, the Gilded Age and even the Baroque era exhibit maximalism’s goals. The maximalism concepts may also be found in other types of art, such as music and the visual arts, like many other trends in interior design. However, even though this style used to be associated with exhibits of wealth, things have progressed over the years, and nowadays, this design can be mostly used to express feelings of happiness, for example, and less about creating something enviable. For instance, at the moment, maximalism design isn’t accomplished through costly objects that weren’t approachable to everyone, such as immensely crafted and detailed furniture and lavish chandeliers, as often as it was in the Victorian Era. Now, this is optional to achieve a good maximalist interior design, as bold colors and patterns mainly define this style. The concept of this type of design is simpler to reach despite the social status. Characteristics of maximalism The maximalist design makes a simple house gush with its owner’s personality. Contrary to minimalism, which is based on clear and simple rules, maximalist interiors are much more challenging to define and push into organized structures. It’s much more peculiar and personal. In this type of design, an intensive color palette definitely leads. Colors such as warm orange, emerald, navy blue, and sapphire usually are used in the first plane as the main key colors. Some people lighten their effect with light furniture and accessories. Others highlight them even more by adding colorful furniture. Something that can certainly change a whole maximalist interior design project is patterns. White walls and soft colors, which had previously been favored, fade into obscurity and are replaced by garish wallpaper. Usually very colorful, unique and has a claw that catches the eye. In addition to giving a glamorous look, golden accents are also easy to apply in space. They can be used on lamp bases, to decorate mirror frames, and to create glittering candlesticks. Even though these are superficial details, their influence in space is noticeable, especially when it comes to transmitting that maximalist aura. How to achieve the perfect maximalist look As you have seen, the color palette is one of the most important factors when it comes to maximalism. Choosing a color scheme is crucial when you’re creating your maximalist design. Select a color scheme based on the feeling you wish to express. Choose between chilly blues, grays, and whites or warm colors like reds, oranges, and yellows, for example. Run with that hue after that. Decorate the space in your selected color scheme with furniture, artwork, and accessories. A single item can make a significant maximalist statement. Some designers create their entire project around a luxurious, bold object. This is great for inspiration or to showcase a lavish item, for example. Putting all of your artwork together in one area and displaying it there so that it completely fills the space is one of the most appealing maximalism design techniques. Adding a bold rug to your design is an excellent way to improve its maximalist vibes – for that, you can choose a piece with strong colors and irreverent shape. Now that you understand more about the main characteristics of this style discover How to use Geometric Rugs and learn how to revamp your design with an extra dose of boldness.

Living Room Of Daniella Villamil Project

Art and Home in Tune Worked Perfectly by Daniella Villamil

Discover how Daniella Villamil creates a stunning residential project by integrating the artwork with the environment. Daniella Villamil is a renowned interior designer known for her style that fuses the dynamics of the modern eclectic with a touch of global influence, thus offering a unique and timeless approach. Daniella Villamil created her studio, Daniella Villamil Interior Design, based in Los Angeles, where she conveys her ideals alongside a quality team. The studio is committed to offering exceptional design and service, which aim to create spaces defined by beauty, comfort and style. Daniella tries in her style to combine her love for design with an insatiable curiosity about cultures around the world, values that she gained throughout her various trips that opened up opportunities to live with and learn from talented artisans. In this way, the designer manages to transport the varied traditions and cultures of other peoples into her projects, even if only by placing objects from these same artisans in the environment. The project Based in Summerlin, Las Vegas, Daniella Villamil created this residential project in the exclusive neighborhood of The Ridges. The owners of this bright house were looking to improve their space with new interior design ideas. They wanted a home that was both unique and striking, providing an out-of-home experience. Daniella Villamil’s main objective was to create a space full of color and unique pieces, which would elevate the design and serve as an ideal backdrop for her impressive art collection, the sole request expressed by the owners. With a more general first analysis, what clearly stands out is the minimalist style accompanied by the modernist tendency of the environment. Wide and clean spaces, with the presence of white as the main feature in this space, bear in mind other colors as a contrast to the environment. The first highlight will be the living room, which is the main living area of this residence, which has several glass walls from floor to ceiling to allow integration with the stunning external landscape. In this place, Daniella Villamil chose two green sofas in the shape of a kidney, which maintain a harmonious atmosphere and complement the colors of the works of art. We also have a center table in rose gold tones and a rug that aligns all these items, chosen to contrast with the colors and shapes of the space. Moving now to the dining room, Daniella Villamil, when discussing her ideas for this space, opted for a style that presents different geometric shapes in vibrant colors, creating an interesting moment in the environment. We have an amazing suspension lamp, which has different shapes as a whole. A dining table proves to be the most neutral element of this space, being all in black. As for the chairs, we have these in wood. Once again, highlight is given to the owners’ art collection, which was displayed on the spot’s branded wall. As for the bedrooms, we have a different approach on the part of Daniella Villamil, the climate changes to something calmer and cozier, maintaining the elegance. In the main bedroom, the designer created a comfortable and charming space, where we have a bed in shades of yellow, with two bedside tables in black. The simplicity of the space takes care of almost all the choices regarding furniture in this place. If in the main bedroom, we see this, then in the other even more accentuated we see this trend. In both, we can see the care in choosing the wallpaper, which is the common thread of the rest of the environment. This home designed by Daniella Villamil, with her distinctive style and creative approach, is the perfect example of contemporary elegance. From its base to the smallest of details, the design of this project is a testament to the designer’s commitment to creating spacious and inviting spaces, where luxury and well-being go hand in hand. Each element is carefully selected to convey a sense of harmony and sophistication. In addition to all these previously announced features, the designer wanted to make this space as functional as possible, with the minimalist style extending throughout the residence. Spaces are carefully planned, with furniture and accessories handpicked to optimize the flow of the house. Clean and free surfaces are the most striking features of this project. Both the owners and the designer were delighted with the end result. Daniella Villamil’s design aesthetic relies on colors and patterns, and it was a perfect match when she met clients. They weren’t afraid to be bold with color and wanted something unique. Also, they had an amazing art collection and wanted the design to be integrated into it. With a sophisticated and contemporary approach, Kristen Peña is known for creating unique and elegant spaces that reflect her client’s style and personalities. With a background based on European elegance and proportions, Kristen Peña incorporates influences from her travels in Southeast Asia, Morocco, and other destinations, where she developed her love for pattern and texture. This passion manifests in her designs, where she utilizes handcrafted materials and custom details to add depth and interest to spaces. In addition to her aesthetic sensibility, the designer is renowned for her ability to balance openness and privacy in her designs. She understands the importance of creating spaces that are welcoming and functional simultaneously, ensuring that each environment meets the needs and desires of her clients. Her work perfectly blends contemporary elegance, global influences and a personal touch, resulting in truly unique and inspiring spaces. The Project So let’s present Kristen Penã’s project. The residence’s owners, two technology executives from San Francisco, are avid collectors of contemporary art. With a comprehensive collection that includes pieces by artists specializing in multiple mediums, they sought a way to feature their artwork in their Napa Valley weekend home. By deeply understanding the owners’ tastes, Kristen Peña has created spaces that not only showcase the pieces of art, but also reflect her personal style. While works of art occupy a central role in this residence, furniture selected from a wide variety of sources plays a crucial role in the interplay between craftsmanship and materiality. In the living room, for example, we have a pair of white sofas with minimalist features that sit next to a center table. We are very aware of the wood color in agreement with the white color, the main color of this space, as we can immediately see on the walls. Kristen Peña excelled in creating unique details and custom touches for the interiors of this Napa Valley home. In the dining room, we once again have the simplicity of the chosen color palette and the elegance of the environment, with a dining table bringing the tones of wood, in harmony with the chairs surrounding it. Once again, white and wood go hand in hand, we have other colors in some decorative items in the space, with the painting on the wall and the plant on the table, as well as a dark color that we can see in the rug. Of note is the incredible suspension lamp we also have in this location. In the bedroom, the minimalist style is maintained, but this time we can identify that it is no longer the white color that dominates the space. To make the area more private, welcoming and warm, Kristen Peña chose gray as the primary color in this space. We have a magnificent bed, this one in white, however, the duvet already returns to the base gray of this space. The bedside tables and the table lamps next to the bed connect elements with the rest of the house, which carry the connection between white and wood that we see in the rest of the project. The designer also placed some furniture elements that complete the space, such as a sofa and two armchairs in the same shades of grey, with a splendid floor lamp in shades of gold, which connects to the same gold of the table in the center of the room. Throughout the residential project, Kristen Peña has created unique and inspiring spaces that perfectly harmonize contemporary elegance, global influences, and a personal touch. The careful combination of handcrafted materials, custom details and thoughtful furniture selection resulted in a residence that not only houses the owners’ art collection, but also reflects their personality and style. Furthermore, the designer’s skill in creating a cohesive atmosphere throughout the residence is evident. Spaces flow naturally into one another, with a consistent design language and a color palette that complements each other. The smooth transition between areas provides a sense of unity and coherence, creating an exceptional living experience for residents. Kristen Peña’s residential project in Napa Valley is a testament to her talent and ability to create spaces that transcend expectations. His unique approach, combined with his aesthetic sensibility and understanding of clients’ needs, resulted in a residence that not only houses an art collection, but is a work of art in its own right. Living Room Of Jessica Schuster Project

Beyond Shadows: Jessica Schuster ‘s Design in Dark Minimalism

Jessica Schuster is a renowned interior designer who has gained recognition and acclaim in the industry with her unique approach and exceptional talent. With an undeniable passion for creating stunning spaces, she has the power to transform environments and bring a sense of harmony and beauty to any project she engages in. As the designer describes, “Our work strives to maintain a harmonious balance between the unusual and the familiar while creating original and composed spaces for our clients”. Coming from Boston, Massachusetts, Jessica Schuster is the founder and president of Jessica Schuster Design, founded in 2013. Her work is spread all over the USA, New York, Palm Beach, Boston and Miami, for example. One of the most distinctive features of Jessica’s work is her ability to balance functionality and aesthetics. She understands that a well-designed space not only has to be visually pleasing, but also needs to be practical and adapted to the daily needs of the people who use it. Additionally, Jessica’s passion for sustainability is evident in her work. She is constantly looking for ways to incorporate eco-friendly materials and environmentally conscious practices into her designs. In doing so, she not only contributes to a more sustainable future, but also creates healthy and harmonious spaces for her customers. The Project Located in New York, we will explore and navigate before Jessica Schuster’s project. Get ready to dive into the designer’s world of creativity and innovation, where we’ll understand how she works on her projects and what styles she transports to their interiors. In this project by Jessica Schuster, what will first come to the eye in a first analysis will be the color palette that the designer has chosen for this space. We have a dark environment with black throughout almost the entire area. As we can identify in the living room, we have a black background, on a wall ledge, just like in furniture items. We were able to understand that black is not the only color present in this space, it shares it with colors such as gray or other distinct elements present in decoration elements. However, black carries prominence with its presence, becoming the primary color of this environment. In addition to the color palette that we have already been able to identify, this project by Jessica Schuster has other characteristics that are homogeneous throughout all rooms. We were able to identify a minimalist trend in this space, with the scarce presence of elements or items, making the space as functional as possible and working with a smaller number of elements, characteristics of this style. This minimalist tendency used by the designer is evident. Again taking the example of the living room, we were able to identify that this space only has two sofas, a pair of center tables and a chair, and nothing else. The office is another space that affirms what Jessica Schuster has presented for this project. We keep the dark color palette in harmony with the rest of the house, as well as the minimalist style. In this division, this color palette becomes ideal for the practice and actions that apply to it, promoting an atmosphere that stimulates concentration. As a contrasting element, we have the wooden desk, which completes the elegance of this space. Also worthy of mention is the magnificent suspension lamp above the desk. In both bedrooms, things really change a bit. We have these two spaces as the divergent base style of Jessica Schuster in this project. Continuing to share characteristics, these spaces were created by the designer in order to create a different atmosphere for such a private space. Keeping the dark tones, these are now not the only ones present in the space. We have the presence of more elements with brighter colors and contrasting colors, which bring more life to the space. Finally, let’s talk about the dining room. This will perhaps be the perfect example of modern and minimalist style in this project. Despite being able to identify characteristics of this style in almost the entire project, Jessica Schuster seems to have left the sovereignty of these characteristics to this place. We have the harmony between the dining table and the chairs with their clean and simple features. Just to add to this space, we have a plant on the table and a suspension lamp. In summary, Jessica Schuster’s innovative design captivates through the deft use of a dark color palette, combined with a striking minimalist style. Its unique approach and refined aesthetics result in visually striking creations, prioritizing the functionality of spaces, never sacrificing its elegance.
