The entrepreneur of Anastasia Beverly Hills transforms her modern house into an artistic and luxurious place Having a creative and vivid soul, Anastasia Soare, known as the “Queen of Brows,” is a Romanian-American businesswoman, CEO, and founder of Anastasia Beverly Hills. The entrepreneur, who is hugely captivated by design, displays her personality and rich taste in her oasis-like Beverly Hills house. The rooms are bright and contemporary, providing a flexible setting to display Soare’s collections of artifacts and mid-century modern style furniture. According to Anastasia Soare, colors keep her upbeat. For that reason, even though she chose grayish colors, she opted for a warm shade of gray, she also mentioned that she prefers to mix fabrics “I wanted to have this incredible feeling of zen—but then you look at the different pieces closely, and your eye is surprised.” This living room is the perfect example of what Anastasia Soare said. Harbour House, evoking a Miami aesthetic via a modern viewpoint, introduces a dynamic blend of color and contrast inspired by a trance from the 1980s. In order to provide an open and fluid planning technique that is consistent with a calm and elevated existence, Studio Gorman and Peter Tout work together to draw prominence to the original story of this home. Located on Sydney’s lower North Shore, Harbour House has three extensive floors and needs to be updated in order to remain relevant for its present owners and their future chapters. The last residence emerges as an accurate statement of location by both refurbishing and recreating previous links to the 1980s. The harbour home was given a new life by utilizing a more open design strategy that focused on connectivity between indoor and outdoor areas while using the pastel colors and striking details that were popular during the time period. The first highlight will be the living room, which is the main living area of this residence, which has several glass walls from floor to ceiling to allow integration with the stunning external landscape. In this place, Daniella Villamil chose two green sofas in the shape of a kidney, which maintain a harmonious atmosphere and complement the colors of the works of art. By deeply understanding the owners’ tastes, Kristen Peña has created spaces that not only showcase the pieces of art, but also reflect her personal style. While works of art occupy a central role in this residence, furniture selected from a wide variety of sources plays a crucial role in the interplay between craftsmanship and materiality. In the living room, for example, we have a pair of white sofas with minimalist features that sit next to a center table. We are very aware of the wood color in agreement with the white color, the main color of this space, as we can immediately see on the walls. Kristen Peña excelled in creating unique details and custom touches for the interiors of this Napa Valley home. In the dining room, we once again have the simplicity of the chosen color palette and the elegance of the environment, with a dining table bringing the tones of wood, in harmony with the chairs surrounding it. Once again, white and wood go hand in hand, we have other colors in some decorative items in the space, with the painting on the wall and the plant on the table, as well as a dark color that we can see in the rug. Of note is the incredible suspension lamp we also have in this location. In the bedroom, the minimalist style is maintained, but this time we can identify that it is no longer the white color that dominates the space. To make the area more private, welcoming and warm, Kristen Peña chose gray as the primary color in this space. We have a magnificent bed, this one in white, however, the duvet already returns to the base gray of this space. The bedside tables and the table lamps next to the bed connect elements with the rest of the house, which carry the connection between white and wood that we see in the rest of the project. We have a dark environment with black throughout almost the entire area. As we can identify in the living room, we have a black background, on a wall ledge, just like in furniture items. We were able to understand that black is not the only color present in this space, it shares it with colors such as gray or other distinct elements present in decoration elements. However, black carries prominence with its presence, becoming the primary color of this environment. In addition to the color palette that we have already been able to identify, this project by Jessica Schuster has other characteristics that are homogeneous throughout all rooms. We were able to identify a minimalist trend in this space, with the scarce presence of elements or items, making the space as functional as possible and working with a smaller number of elements, characteristics of this style. This minimalist tendency used by the designer is evident. Again taking the example of the living room, we were able to identify that this space only has two sofas, a pair of center tables and a chair, and nothing else. The office is another space that affirms what Jessica Schuster has presented for this project. We keep the dark color palette in harmony with the rest of the house, as well as the minimalist style. In this division, this color palette becomes ideal for the practice and actions that apply to it, promoting an atmosphere that stimulates concentration.
